IMAGINE-LANTERN-2-p-500

We are inviting adults and children of all ages to create a paper lantern house to share their solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers during these difficult times generated by the current pandemic.

In many cities of Europe and the UK, migrants and asylum seekers have been displaced from their accommodations. Moreover, support groups and officials are struggling to provide food and shelter for people sleeping outdoors due to the social distancing measures adopted in response to Covid-19.

Please join this small, creative act of solidarity. You can visit our website where you can find out more about our initiative. You can also request one of our free pack of materials here to make your own lantern house and participate in this project.

Our program of events is constantly being updated. You can keep up-to-date by following our social media accounts:

Distanced Assemblage is collaboration project between artists Paria Goodarzi, Francisco Llinas Casas and Glasgow Women’s Library; with the support of Scottish Refugee Council.
