Join us for an evening for artists from migrant and refugee backgrounds in and around Birmingham to network, share current projects and learn more about Refugee Week, Platforma and Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham.

Refugee Week is a UK-wide festival of arts and cultural events celebrating the contributions of refugees, and Platforma is a national network that supports artists who work on themes of migration. Refugee Week and Platforma are both coordinated by Counterpoints Arts.

Celebrating Sanctuary (CSB) is a Birmingham-based music and arts organisation with a mission to support, promote and develop the work of refugee and migrant artists and work with refugee communities. CSB co-ordinates Refugee Week in Birmingham, and the Birmingham Refugee Week Network.

A travel budget is available and a simple evening meal will be provided.

Places are limited and booking is essential. If you would like to join us, please email Rachael Cox at Celebrating Sanctuary on, with a line about why you would like to attend.

This event is hosted by Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham and Counterpoints Arts (which coordinates Refugee Week and Platforma Arts and Refugees Network).
