This event is taking place during Refugee Week to highlight the importance of raising awareness of the situation for displaced people in France and abroad.
Collective Aid works in Calais in collaboration with Help Refugees / Choose Love, to provide urgently needed material aid to displaced people across Northern France.
Over the past few years, Collective Aid has relied on salvaging tents from festivals to boost and sustain tent stock throughout the wet and cold winter months, providing vital shelter for displaced people in Calais.
Due to Covid-19, many festivals have had to be cancelled or postponed this summer, which has put Collective Aid in a worrying position regarding their ability to provide shelter to displaced people next Autumn and Winter.
Collective Aid needs your support to make this happen!
