Crossing Borders Festival, Festival, Migration Matters

Please join us as we turn the spotlight on some individuals who arrived as refugees and migrants in our region and have overcome adversity to establish successful businesses and careers. We will also be launching our MiFriendly Cities Birmingham Employability initiative delivering free career development information and support to communities. Our MiFriendly partners will be offering lots of opportunities to get involved in the project including accredited training opportunities and much more. There will also be drop-in career advice and guidance available on the day. The event wants to inspire refugees and migrants to fulfil their potential and reach their aspirations.

This event is part of a programme of activities co-ordinated by Celebrating Sanctuary for Refugee Week 2019. The event will be opened by Cllr John Cotton and is hosted by the Bosnia & Herzegovina UK Network

For queries, including exhibitor availability and help with travel to the event please contact the Birmingham MiFriendly Delivery Officer by email at or call 07892 786727
