Sit With Us is an interactive art installation created by and with Kuluhenna Drama, a group of women from refugee, asylum seeker and settled Leeds communities during lockdown. The installation came from a desire to create a tranquil oasis and explores what it means to be comfortable in a hostile environment. Sit With Us invites you to take a seat, make yourself comfortable and listen. Sit with Us will feature printed textiles, poems, soundscapes, filmed monologues and invitations to take yourself on guided ‘soundwalks’.
