'Stories of Moving Lineage'- screening of five original short films celebrating the 20th anniversary of Salusbury World.

Register via Eventbrite

As part of Refugee Week 2020, this is the next chapter of a collaborative project between Salusbury World, London College of Communication and FotoDocument in response to our collation of an oral history archive, which records 20 stories of the first children and parents to come through Salusbury World Refugee Centre.

The stories focus on memories of homeland and agile adaptations to exile, exploring resilience, polyglotism and celebrating transnational culture in the UK.

Please come & watch the films, hear about the project & #imagine a hopeful future for refugees and humankind.

Once registered, you will receive a Zoom link to the event which will include the screening of at least 5 original films and some discussion. We look forward to seeing you there.

Supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

If you would like to attend, please sign up on the Eventbrite and you will be sent a zoom invitation.

We are very excited to be able to showcase a few of these films online in a participatory way, in the absence of being able to hold a physical event in the current circumstances.
