The United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child (UNCRC) is the most widely ratified human rights treaty in the world and as a company that works so extensively with children, WNO is pleased to support and facilitate this discussion. To mark the Convention’s 30th anniversary and the first sitting of Wales’ new Youth Parliament, we explore the role that young people play in democracy, and what steps are being taken in Wales to ensure that the views of young people are listened to, in accordance with Article 12.
This event is part of WNO’s Freedom Season and the Welsh Refugee Council is a key partner of this season that explores the theme of human rights.
