Upholding the Human Rights of Rohingyas Refugee in Bangladesh

BCHRD are committed to assists people from torture & trauma background who have experienced torture or been traumatized as a result of persecution, violence, war or unlawful imprisonment prior to their arrival in Bangladesh.

BCHRD is going to start for Torture and Trauma Rehabilitation through the World refugee week and  Celebration of the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture -26 June 2019 in Bangladesh from 20-26 June 2019. One National Workshop on National Policy formation for the 1.2 Million rohingyas refugees and another one national workshop for UNCAT, ant-torture laws, OPCAT; two national workshop on Technical capacity-building for human rights activists; training for religious freedom activists focused on national and international human rights law UNCAT, OPCAT, anti-torture laws-2013 and norms, with the aim to help activists more clearly identify types of violations and frame them in a way that can be more effectively used for national and international lobbying.

We also organize 5 door to door campaigns against torture in Rohingyas camp with refugee peoples. The events also covering national level discussion meeting, dance, children's art competition, games and rallies
