CELEBRATIONS IN THE STREETS OF FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE AFTER THE SLPP VICTORY IN THE 2002 ELECTIONS

A photography exhibition with the work of Photographer Glenn Edwards featuring asylum seekers and refugees from the countries depicted in the photos, sharing their insights and experiences about the situation in their countries and why people leave to seek asylum elsewhere. People from a non-migrant background in Cardiff will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences of life in Wales especially if they have a family member from a migrant background.

Asylum Seeker and Refugee speakers include:
- Akilas - refugee from Eritrea
- Abdulla - asylum seeker from Iran
- Asmaa Alfastaki - refugee from Syria
- Salah Rasool - refugee from Kurdistan

Light refreshment will be served.
