great street feast

Every survivor of torture in the UK has a different story, which means that their needs are different too.  That’s why we at Freedom from Torture, tailor the support we offer to suit each person who comes to us.

We provide counselling, group therapy and ongoing support.  We run groups like gardening, music, creative writing and cookery.  We provide expert medical assessments to support survivors’ asylum claims, and use our expertise and evidence to protect and promote survivors’ rights and hold torturers to account.

Freedom from Torture are delighted to announce that the Great Street Feast will once again be returning to the prestigious BAFTA 195 Piccadilly on Wednesday 20th June 2018.  Hosted by Ian Hislop and John McCarthy CBE, this prestigious award-winning event will feature some of London’s finest chefs cooking up the ultimate menu, just for you!  This year’s event, which coincides with World Refugee Day, will be a true celebration of food and flavours from around the world.

You will be able to interact with chefs and celebrities in this street-market inspired setting with colourful food and sizzling flavours being created and cooked up before your eyes.  Specially selected fine wines from Farr Vintners will be flowing throughout the evening, as well as a gastronome-inspired Live Auction and Grand Raffle.
