This film series from the Refugee Council and Show Studios unpacks some of the key issues surrounding the UK’s asylum system. Featuring Enver Solomon, Refugee Week Co-Chair and CEO of the Refugee Council, Mohanad, a Sudanese refugee, and Cora Corré, Model and granddaughter of Vivienne Westwood. 

  •  Leon’s Story (West Holts)

Leon, an actor and dancer whose father was a refugee from Cambodia, tells the remarkable story of his family’s journey, passing on a message of compassion for the refugees of today.

  •  Compassion Series by Deadbeat

To celebrate @Refugeeweekuk@deadbeatfilms and @eymensy collaborated with @counterpointsarts@compasscollect@waterbearnetwork and @ChooseLove for an intimate film project produced by Deadbeat Impact. We worked with 14 young people who are living within the asylum system, and asked them a simple question: “What compassion means to you?”. Their answers were documented through photography and video, and will be shared throughout the lead up and during the dates of Refugee Week.
