The line up for the Refugee Week 2023 Conference on Weds 15 March has been announced. There is a fantastic line-up of guest speakers and artists joining us online to help us get inspired and ready for this year’s festival. Register for your free ticket here

To kick off the day, we’ll be welcomed by our brilliant co-chairs Enver Solomon (CEO, Refugee Council) and Dima Mekdad. Vicky Tennant, the UK representative for the UN agency for Refugees will provide a glimpse into the global context. Climate activist Yusuf Baluch will be in conversation with award-winning journalist Ros Wynne-Jones to reflect on Yusuf’s important activism and this year’s theme of Compassion. The conference is a fantastic opportunity to hear about all the different ways you can take part this year. There will also be the chance to hear from broad range of incredible Refugee Week organisers doing inspirational work across the world to celebrate Refugee Week. Plus there will be performances by Ege Dündar (poet) and music by FACESOUL.

There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow conference attendees, from 10-10.30am and 12.30- 1.30pm to allow everyone the opportunity to connect with each other, network and join the movement!
