Vicky Tennant, the UK representative for the UN agency for Refugees will provide a glimpse into the global context. Climate activist Yusuf Baluch will be in conversation with award-winning journalist Ros Wynne-Jones to reflect on Yusuf’s important activism and this year’s theme of Compassion. The conference is a fantastic opportunity to hear about all the different ways you can take part this year. There will also be the chance to hear from broad range of incredible Refugee Week organisers doing inspirational work across the world to celebrate Refugee Week. Plus there will be performances by Ege Dündar (poet) and music by FACESOUL.
