We’re pleased to invite you to the 2022 Refugee Week conference, an online gathering sharing inspiration, learning and ideas ahead of Refugee Week in June.

The conference is aimed at anyone who is interested in getting involved in Refugee Week, an annual festival celebrating the contributions of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

Whether you’re involved in arts and culture, sports, education, community organising, a faith community, social enterprise or something else, and whether or not you’ve taken part in Refugee Week before, everyone is welcome.

The 2022 conference will be a mix of online presentations, activities and workshops spread across two half-days. We will share more information and booking details in the new year, but in the meantime the dates for your diary are:

Monday 7 February 1030am – 1245pm
Friday 11 February 1030am – 1215pm

We hope to see you there!

Hold a local Refugee Week meetup

We are also inviting you to hold your own Refugee Week meetup or conference, in person or online, in your area or region, anytime in February – or whenever works for you.

Local and regional meetups are a great way to meet others taking part in Refugee Week in your area to network, support each other’s events and coordinate publicity.

We will be providing simple resources for these sessions, including information about Refugee Week, the 2022 theme and a suggested agenda. We’d love to hear your suggestions for other resources that would be useful – get in touch to let us know.

Once you’ve set a date for your local meetup, please add it to the Refugee Week online calendar and we’ll help spread the word.

If you have any questions, or would like to hold a local meetup but aren’t sure where to start, drop us a line.
