Refugee Week is a growing global movement, and we are excited to welcome five new sister festivals this year.

Here’s a taster of what’s happening for Refugee Week 2022 around the world, 20-26 June.

Refugee Week Australia

Refugee Week originated in Australia, where it has been running since 1986. Coordinated by Refugee Council of Australia. This year the festival shares the theme of ‘Healing’, and people are invited to take part by watching a film, reading a book or joining one of over 100 events across the country, including exhibitions, film screenings, food events, talks, walks and community celebrations.
